About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead large-scale data center construction projects from preconstruction through delivery. This role provides executive oversight across multiple projects, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction. The Project Executive will partner closely with clients, designers, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
Primary Responsibilities

Provide executive oversight for data center construction projects, including ground-up builds, expansions, and critical infrastructure upgrades.

Lead project teams through all phases of delivery, from preconstruction planning to commissioning and turnover.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center clients.

Partner with preconstruction, estimating, and operations teams to establish project execution strategies and delivery plans.

Monitor overall project performance, including cost, schedule, quality, safety, and risk management.

Oversee contract strategy, procurement, and change management to protect project margins and schedules.

Collaborate with field leadership to ensure consistent execution and adherence to safety and quality standards across all sites.

Support staffing plans, team development, and succession planning within data center project teams.

Represent the company in executive meetings, proposals, and key project milestones.

Identify market trends, client needs, and opportunities to support growth in the data center sector.
Qualifications

12+ years of construction experience, with significant leadership responsibility on data center or mission-critical projects.

Proven success delivering large-scale, technically complex data center projects ($50M+ preferred).

Strong understanding of data center systems, including power, cooling, redundancy (Tier I–IV), and commissioning processes.

Expertise in multiple project delivery methods, including design-build and CM-at-risk.

Demonstrated business acumen, including financial management, forecasting, and client negotiation.

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across preconstruction, operations, and field execution.

Proficiency with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, scheduling and financial tools).

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
