Alysha Frieden serves as the Managing Partner and lead OB/GYN and Women’s Health Search Consultant within the Academic Medicine Physician & Leadership Recruitment Practice at Kaye/Bassman International Corp. (KBIC). With more than two decades of experience spanning business development, sales, recruitment, and team leadership, Alysha brings a dynamic, results-driven approach to the highly specialized recruitment of physicians and leaders across OB/GYN and Women’s Health.

Alysha’s professional focus is dedicated to identifying and recruiting exceptional talent across the women’s health landscape. She partners with academic medical centers, health systems, and healthcare organizations to recruit leading OB/GYN physicians, women’s health specialists, and clinical and academic leaders who are advancing care, education, research, and innovation. Her deep understanding of these specialties allows her to connect organizations with candidates who not only possess the clinical and academic expertise required for their roles, but who also align with their broader vision for the future of women’s health.

After graduating from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., Alysha began her career at KPMG Consulting, where she developed a strong foundation in strategy and operations. Prior to joining KBIC, she played a key role in scaling a global dermatology business, an experience that further strengthened her strategic, operational, and relationship-building expertise. These experiences have shaped her ability to understand the complexities of healthcare organizations and build meaningful, long-term partnerships with both clients and candidates.

Alysha’s perspective is further enriched by her personal connection to OB/GYN and Women’s Health. Her husband is a practicing OB/GYN, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges, demands, and rewards of the specialty. Her personal and professional worlds are deeply connected to women’s health, reinforcing her commitment to supporting the physicians, leaders, and organizations dedicated to improving healthcare for women.

Known for her authenticity, energy, and dedication, Alysha approaches every search as a true partnership. Originally from Houston, Alysha found her way back to Texas and now resides in Dallas with her husband and their three sons. She balances her professional passion for physician recruitment and women’s health with a vibrant family life, bringing the same energy, curiosity, and commitment to both.
