Will Smith

Will Smith serves as a Managing Partner with Kaye/Bassman International and is a key leader within the firm’s Construction Practice. As part of the Midwest team, he drives growth across the Missouri market, partnering with leading construction organizations to secure high-impact talent and elevate performance. In his role as Director of the Missouri Commercial Building Practice, within the firm’s Construction and Real Estate specialty practice serving clients nationwide, Will has been instrumental in helping companies ranging from startups to multinational, top ENR-ranked firms secure executive and mid-management talent.

Will began his professional career as an insurance agent before transitioning into recruiting in 2019 with Kaye/Bassman International. Since then, he has built a reputation for delivering strategic hiring solutions, developing long-term client partnerships, and helping construction organizations build high-performing teams. His background in business development and relationship management allows him to effectively align talent strategies with company growth objectives.

He attended Texas Tech University, where he studied Marketing and Advertising.

Outside of work, Will is passionate about sports and family. He and his wife, Jaylyn, have three children—Mateo, Izzy, and Enzo—and two dogs, a Dalmatian and a Dachshund. He is a dedicated fan of the Houston Texans and an avid follower of Formula One, especially seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
